The 2008-2009 Wharton Business Plan Competition Winner: NIR Diagnostics!

Congratulations to Pitamber Devgon, Xiaoming Fang, Bosun Hau, Armen Karamanian of NIR Diagnostics, who took home the Michelson Grand Prize of $20,000 cash with an additional $10,000 worth of legal and accounting services. NIR Diagnostics also received the most votes in the People's Choice Award, securing an additional $3000 prize for being the audience's favorite.

Other Prizes
The first runner-up was CuddleBots, led by Joseph Zwillinger and Buzzy Bonneau. They received a $10,000 cash award and $10,000 in legal and accounting services.

The second runner-up was the Wharton West team of RealisticEye, led by Chris Schaeffer, Erich Horn, and Srini Namineni. They received a $5,000 cash award and $10,000 in legal and accounting services.

The Frederick H. Gloeckner Award went to Daniel Harbuck of StealthRowing for being the highest ranked undergraduate plan in this year's competition. Harbuck received a $5000 cash prize.
