Hal Real
President, Real Entertainment Group & World Café Live

In 2001, driven by what he recognized as an unmet need in the marketplace, Hal formed Real Entertainment Group to apply his business development skills to creating upscale entertainment venues that will reinvent the live music experience for an audience he defines as “grownups.” Working closely with Philadelphia’s contemporary music public radio station, 88.5/WXPN, in October, 2004 Real Entertainment Group opened World Cafe Live – a 100-seat café and 300-seat music venue with full food and beverage service housed in a 40,000 square foot, $15 million facility on the Walnut Street Bridge in Philadelphia. Building on the success of its Philadelphia operation, Real Entertainment is in the planning stages for World Cafe Live venues in several other cities in partnership with other non-profit arts organizations.
